Mass Effect 3 Kinect Functionality Explained

When BioWare announced that Mass Effect 3 would have Kinect functionality, many "hardcore" gamers let out a collective groan. As of now, the Kinect peripheral has yet to provide a solid gaming experience and has only managed to supply fun party games. PC Mass Effect 3 Will Require Origin

The third iteration of the series will not be released on Steam either.

It seems PC players will have fewer options than normal when it comes to purchasing the upcoming Mass Effect 3. Like other Electronic Arts games released in the past six months or so, Mass Effect 3 will not be sold through Steam. Furthermore, regardless of whether you buy the game in stores or online, the Origin platform will be required to play it.

Mass Effect 3 Has Cut Mass Effect 2 Mission

Content left on the cutting room floor is getting a second chance.

BioWare is giving pushed aside content another chance. A segment that was originally cut from Mass Effect 2, a mission that takes place on the Citadel, will be included in Mass Effect 3. The Citadel had a major role in the ending of the first game.

The Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition will include a lot of extra stuff for only $20 more than the standard edition. Mass Effect 3 will be released on March 6, 2012 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC and the Collector's Edition will be $79.99. The extra content is listed below.

Mass Effect 3 Has Multiplayer

Looks like you won't be saving the world alone after all.

It looks like multiplayer is coming to Mass Effect 3 if the Australian gaming mag PC PowerPlay is to be believed.  According to their website, the magazine’s November issue, which goes on sale on October 19th, will blow the lid off of what may be one of the biggest video game announcements of the year.
