Click. Click. Click. It’s hard to believe that a game that’s entirely based around mouse clicking can be as entertaining, addictive, and all-consuming as Diablo III is. Blizzard took twelve years to deliver the third release of their dungeon-exploring, monster-slaying, loot-hoarding series, and it was entirely possible that this game wouldn’t deliver on over a decade of anticipation. I’m here to tell you that Blizzard did indeed deliver and as soon as I’m done telling you exactly how amazing this game is you can count on me going back in for more clicking, carnage, and loot. Often imitated but never duplicated, Blizzard has given a powerful reminder of who the king of the click really is.

Just don't expect it to work on a new computer.

If you like free games, there’s a pretty easy way to score Midnight Club II on your Steam account through the weekend.  Simply join the Rockstar Steam community before 10 AM PDT on May 15 and a free, non-giftable copy of the game will arrive in your account sometime before May 29. Just be aware that this version of the game won’t run on Windows 7 or Vista.  This probably limits the audience for the game considerably, but for those still rocking Windows XP on an aging rig might finally have a new game to boot up on their systems.

The sequel will focus on the eastern front of WWII.

THQ recently announced that they are currently developing of Company of Heroes 2, a sequel to the highly rated PC strategy game released in 2006. Scheduled to release for the PC in early 2013, Company of Heroes 2 will have gamers controlling the Red Army on "the frozen frontlines of war in Russia," moving away from the western front of World War II.

While PC gamers celebrate, Demon's Souls on the PS3 will rage one last time into the night.

Dark Souls, the spiritual successor of the surprise hit Demon’s Souls, has been lauded by many a gamer for its brutal and unforgiving difficulty – a feature that has separated the game from the more regular AAA fair that was released last year.  It’s a game designed specifically for the hardcore gamer, but it hadn’t yet been able to call the most hardcore of platforms, the PC, home.  That is, until now.

The first batch of extra content will be free.

Capcom is extending the life of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City by releasing DLC for the game tomorrow on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The content will include seven new missions and four new versus mode maps. All of the content will be free.
