You know you want to hear “Sonic Boom” again.
I love Sonic the Hedgehog. That is probably the understatement of the year, as I’ve made my love of the blue hedgehog well known and I know all of the Sonic games front to back. As it turns out, in the year the game has been missing, it has been through some extreme turmoil. For a brief time, it had been cancelled by Hideo Kojima.
Raiden's latest chapter will be even more over the top than expected.
At tonight's VGA awards, it was revealed that Metal Gear Solid Rising will now be known by a different name - Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. In addition to the name change, development was also handed to a different studio. Taking the helm is Platinum Games, known for their over the top style as demonstrated in Bayonetta, Vanquish, and Madworld.
Snake will reveal himself on the 3DS in March of 2012.
The port of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater to the Nintendo 3DS was originally set to be released this December. Then it was announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2011 that it had been delayed to "early 2012." That's an ambiguous term, but now we have a actual release date.
