Microsoft's Major Nelson announced today that for the next 12 days, there will be a daily deal on Xbox Live. Called the 12 Days of Xbox Deals, every day will bring a new deal on a different item. However, each deal will only last for one day. The first deal is 50% off Bastion. Normally 1200 Microsoft Points or $15, for today only it will be available for 600 points or $7.50. EA seeks to expand a brand by possibly diluting the product.
EA has been really trying to turn Visceral Games’ Dead Space franchise into a major brand. In addition to the fantastic sequel that was released earlier this year, the Dead Space name has been popping up on comic books, animated films, a novelization and the franchise spin-off on-rails shooter Dead Space: Extraction for the Wii and PlayStation 3. But if a source cited by Kotaku is to be believed, EA is gearing up for some major expansion of the survival horror franchise.
Called Exterminatus, Space Marine's huge DLC installment won't cost you anything.
Space Marine was released last month without any form of cooperative play available. It may have seemed like an oversight at the time, but THQ promised that it would be adding it shortly after launched. Today they keep their promise and it won’t cost you a dime.

Nintendo plans to relaunch the WiiWare demo service this Monday and this time it appears to be staying.
After a year-long hiatus, WiiWare Demos are finally making a comeback. There are four planned titles ready for a launch this Monday: BIT.TRIP FATE, And Yet It Moves, ThruSpace and Jett Rocket. The service also appears to be back for good this time around as the e-mail Nintendo sent out this morning states that "additional demos will be added on Mondays and each will remain available on the Wii Shop Channel for a limited time". Great news for those curious about current titles.
