The Pixar game for the Kinect can be had this spring.
Disney-Pixar today set a release date for Kinect Rush: A Disney-Pixar Adventure. The game will be available on March 20, 2012 and will retail for $50. The new title for the Xbox 360's Kinect add-on will feature characters from Pixar's animated films such as Ratatouille, Cars and Toy Story.
Confirmed: navigating 3D space with Kinect is miserable.
Without ever having been to Disneyland, I can only assume that Frontier has done a spectacular job recreating the iconic park. The virtual representation of the park seems to have everything covered, straight down to themed garbage cans, benches, and vending carts. Despite all the effort, it's held back at every turn by the peripheral that should be immersing you. The fact of the matter is, the Kinect controls are cumbersome and unnecessary and often just don’t work right.
TellTale’s signature style doesn’t do this aging franchise any favors.
The catastrophe that occurred on Isla Nublar back in 1993 was a classic example of Murphy’s Law in action. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong and it did so with spectacular results that have deeply imbedded themselves in the brains of many a movie goer, including your humble reviewer. Even though it's been nearly 20 years since it was released I can’t help but smile every time I hear the first few notes of John Williams’ iconic score. After 25 years and 13 games, Zelda is certainly no spring chicken. We've heard more about Link, the Triforce, Ganon, and a plot hole-ridden timeline than you can shake a Deku stick at. It looks like Skyward Sword will shake things up, but for me it's not enough. The world of Hyrule needs a new hero to rise. That hero is the cucco.
