King of Fighters 96 and Metal Slug 2 make their debut on the service.
SNK Playmore USA is continuing to release titles for their NeoGeo Channel on the PlayStation Network. Today the company announced that two more titles will make up the fourth set, bringing the total available to 16. The King of Fighters '96 and Metal Slug 2 are now available for $6.99 and $8.99 for the PSP and PlayStation 3, respectively.
A rumor is reporting the update to come after Thanksgiving.
IGN is reporting that according to sources at GigaOM, Microsoft will release the New Xbox Experience on November 25, 2011. That's the day after Thanksgiving, known as Black Friday. The update will include the TV capabilities and Kinect capabilities, as well as other features.

Players have discovered a serious glitch in Gears of War 3, that is reportedly freezing Xbox 360 consoles. It occurs while trying to enter a horde match in split screen with two different gamer profiles. Not only will the console freeze, forcing the player to restart their console, but afterward one of the profiles will be altered, prohibiting that player to enter a match. The "loading game mode" screen is when the glitch appears to be happening.
Both the PS3 and 360 versions will allow for a voluntary install to run higher res graphics.
While speaking with GamerZines, DICE’s Patrick Liu indicated that Battlefield 3 would allow players to install a high res package that will make the game look much better on the Xbox 360.

A more deliberately paced game with a strong narrative, Mafia II defies expectations.
Though pegged as another Mafioso-inspired sandbox game, Mafia II doesn’t have that much in common with its open world contemporaries. Rather than being inspired by Scarface and Goodfellas like GTA or Saints Row, Mafia II is more deliberately paced and more akin to The Sopranos or The Godfather, in which story and the lifestyle itself are front and center. There are no side quests or odd jobs to complete. Although there’s a big city, this is not an open world game. It's a linear action game with a strong narrative.
Titled, Hail to the Icons, the DLC adds new multiplayer modes and maps.
Gearbox will be releasing DLC for their latest and controversial shooter, Duke Nukem Forever. Releasing next week, on October 11, Gearbox community manager, Chris Faylor, revealed that those in the First Access Club will receive the DLC for free. Everyone else will need to pay the $10 or 800 Microsoft Point entry fee if they intend to experience the latest for the King.
