Drake's latest adventure holds many treasures indeed.
It’s not like we needed any more incentive to pick up Uncharted 3 when it releases on November 1, but Sony has gone and sweetened the pot in an unexpected but pleasant way.

id emerges from hibernation to a FPS landscape that has changed considerably since they ruled the roost. Do they still have what it takes to dominate?
id defined the first person shooter for an entire generation of gamers. From Wolfenstein to Doom to Quake, they pumped out standard setting shooters for years before going quiet after the 2004 release of Doom 3. In the years since, they have worked diligently on an all new IP that slowly morphed into the finished product that we know today as Rage--a game that stays true to the aesthetic and spirit of its predecessors while borrowing a few trappings from more contemporary games. Does it have what it takes to hold its own in a world dominated by the likes of Call of Duty, Halo, and Battlefield? You better believe it does.

Looks like you won't be saving the world alone after all.
It looks like multiplayer is coming to Mass Effect 3 if the Australian gaming mag PC PowerPlay is to be believed. According to their website, the magazine’s November issue, which goes on sale on October 19th, will blow the lid off of what may be one of the biggest video game announcements of the year.
Viewing the Battlefield 3 Online Beta through the eyes of a noob.
Deciding to take the Battlefield 3 Online Beta for a spin was not a simple decision for me. It’s the latest in a series that I’ve never played before and while I’ve been known to take some names and kick some ass in even the toughest of FPS single player modes, multiplayer has always been a different story entirely.
Let the smack talk begin!
According to the PlayStation Blog the Battlefield 3 Open Beta is now operational on the PSN for gamers in North America and European territories. This comes as a sigh of relief for those that thought that the Beta would be open during the normal Tuesday rollout earlier in the week and were sorely disappointed when it turned out to be limited affair.
A look at the multiplayer features for Driver: San Francisco.
A rundown of the multiplayer mode, plus footage!
Assassin's Creed was a brand new experience for me and a fun last game on my second day at E3. In the multiplayer mode I got to try, two sides faced off as either assassin or prey in a castle courtyard in Constantinople. The prey would run off and try to blend in among the inhabitants and the assassins would – can you guess? – that's right, they'd hunt them down and kill them. Boy, you're good at guessing.
During the Microsoft press conference, Harmonix blew the top off of the follow-up to the best selling game for Kinect.
Dance Central 2 was announced today by Harmonix during the Microsoft press briefing. The game is set to offer a variety of new content and features, like the ability to perform simultaneously with another player via drop-in/drop-out multiplayer. Players will have access to over 100 songs later this year when the game launches exclusively on the Xbox 360.
A game with a unique mechanic that could be great with some adjustments.
I really wanted to like Brink. A sci-fi game set in a dystopian future with guns, parkour-like movement and over-the-top characters? Where do I sign?! But sadly, it seems that Splash Damage was unable to make their game live up to the hype. Twice.
