Each entry in the series is a part of the action-RPG genre featuring a mission-based structure. Eldar Saga falls in line with its predecessor but now features a seamless battle system that occurs in realtime.
According to Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot, "The acquisition of Nadeo is an important step in [their] expansion within the on-line gaming sector."
