EA's Origin Gets Batman, Saints Row

A new deal will make Origin more competitive in the digital distribution market.

EA has announced today that its digital distribution platform, Origin, will be adding a boatload of new, popular titles from publishers Warner Bros. Interactive, THQ and Capcom Entertainment, Inc.  Beginning next month, Origin will play host to hotly anticipated PC version of Batman: Arkham City, Saints Row: The Third and more.

New Wii Model on the Way for Europe

This new model will have a few variations from the current Wii.

Earlier today, Official Nintendo Magazine's website was updated with a news story revealing a new version of the Wii console. This new console is quoted as being "streamlined," and will officially lay horizontally, lacking a vertical stand. This particular Wii will be released "before Christmas," and will be bundled with Wii Sports and Wii Party. In addition to the changes above, this Wii model will not include GameCube controller ports, and will not be compatible with GameCube games.

Ever picked up an enchanting book which starts off strong with a variety of colorful characters, an interesting plot, and a great setting, making for an engrossing experience that seems to be heading somewhere grand? Ever felt that sort of emptiness inside your gut when that same book just moves in circles, and no early plot elements are fleshed out, where the characters never express their true personality, and event after event feels the same? That's Double Fine's Trenched. An unbelievably well-shaped game with great characters, solid gameplay, and an original setting. Where does Trenched take it? Sadly, practically nowhere, leaving an emptiness inside that was expecting much, much more.
