A more deliberately paced game with a strong narrative, Mafia II defies expectations.
Though pegged as another Mafioso-inspired sandbox game, Mafia II doesn’t have that much in common with its open world contemporaries. Rather than being inspired by Scarface and Goodfellas like GTA or Saints Row, Mafia II is more deliberately paced and more akin to The Sopranos or The Godfather, in which story and the lifestyle itself are front and center. There are no side quests or odd jobs to complete. Although there’s a big city, this is not an open world game. It's a linear action game with a strong narrative.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron revealed.
The next GameInformer magazine has a big cover story on Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Developed by High Moon Studios, gamers will play through battles that shaped the Transformers history, during the Civil War between the Autobots and Decepticons.

After a few minutes, the conversation shifts from Jobs to Apple's new iPhone 4S and what gamers should expect with it. Following all this, there's naturally some Club Nintendo criticism, and even the mention of the currently potential Republican presidential candidate and his relationship to Pokemon! Finally, after all this, Jason describes his perceptions of the competitive Brawl community and their impending ban of Meta Knight. PB & Jason 59 wraps up with the illumination of Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2's story mode.
The computer visionary passed away at the age of 56.
Today, Apple has announced the death of their former CEO, Steve Jobs, at age 56. Jobs was one of the founders of Apple Corporation, and recently stepped down from his position at Apple for health reasons. While Jobs is most widely known as a leader with Apple's computer and portable hardware, he was also involved in many entertainment-based companies, including Pixar. Jobs led Apple as it developed many classic and modern computers, from the Apple II desktop all the way to the iPad and iPhone.

Racing Balls on the original dual screen handheld.
GameMill announced today plans to publish the Black Lantern developed DS racer, DaGeDar. Offering over 100 unlockable racing balls and more than 30 courses, players will need to loop, drop, climn, and bank to victory. Throughout the races players will collect points that can be used toward special rewards, such as special characters. Each ball offers special abilities that will impact speed, acceleration, attack, and defense.
