About Me:

I'm not big on writing about myself, (which kind of screws me out of ever writing an edge-of-your-seat autobiography about my many misadventures), so I'll keep this part as short sweet. I'm from Michigan, not far from Detroit, but still far enough to where I haven't been murdered or had a "condemned", sign hung around my neck (yet). I'm a husband, a father, a dog owner, a home owner, a VW enthusiast and in love with every minute of it. I'm also an ordained minister in the state of Ohio and a member of a rock band that has achieved a very modest degree of local success. Pretty neat, eh?

I grew up on games, much like everyone else here. I cut my teeth on the Atari 2600, then graduated to a Commodore 64 before I joined the masses on the NES and Genesis. I lobbied for (and got) a SNES, lost faith in Santa Clause for not bringing me a Gameboy a couple years prior, and spent a whole summer working as a ball boy at a local driving range to foolishly spend my money on a 3d0.

...and I've seen every side-street, alleyway and parking space down the road of gaming since then. I primarily stick to my 360, PS3 and PC nowadays, but will occasionally steal my son's Wii or "borrow" the wife's Nintendo DS to play Puzzle Quest, if the need arises.

My favorite kind of games are the ones that you can feel at home playing - that you can leave on in the background, because you know that no matter the reason for leaving, you'll soon be back to get a few more minutes in, so why bother turning it off?

...and (of course) my band, Highbinder - which sounds like a mixture of all the aforementioned bands.
