EA promised today that an entry into their flagship franchise, Madden NFL Football, will make it onto the 3DS in the first half of 2011. In a press release, EA didn't announce any particular date for their new 3DS title, but suggested two potentially different periods for the game's release: The 3DS launch and the first half of 2011.
SSX: First Descent and SSX: Deadly Descent might just be the next new SSX titles out there.
Fans of the downhill snowboarding genre or SSX in particular will be delighted to know EA has been busy registering domain names relating to the SSX series.
Fans of old-school Capcom games will be delighted.

After Dark
I decided I'd finally attend one of those various midnight openings to see how well received Kinect was at various retailers opening to sell the device at Midnight. Since the device is a bit different than what's out there for video games, I figured it would be interesting to get a good view of the crowds and to see if anything special was going down for the launch.
