me and my band opened for Of Montreal for about five shows in 2007. It was fucked up.
Congrats on your new car, man!

This week I made a new games list I want to follow for a while. It includes a lot of stuff I've never played and a few I've already played. I own all of them except for two and they are Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. I got SMG1 on Friday for $20 at BestBuy. This and some other stuff are shown below.
There's Super Mario Galaxy, the Nintendo Selects version. Next to it is the 2015 album Aureate Gloom by Of Montreal, a progressive rock band. I have no idea what they sound like, but if they get the prog rock tag on Wiki, I'm a gonna check 'em out. I got the album at my local used record store, Shady Dog Records for $13.
Then I went over to Goodwil and picked up two laptop bags which I'll use for game systems. The one in the back I'm going to use for my Wii. I have a Wii branded bag but it's so darn small. It barely fits everything and I have to cram in the classic controller. This bag will make all that fit very nicely. The other bag is a little bit bigger and I've decided to use it for my Sega Dreamcast. I may have to remove some dividers in one section though that are supposed to be used for paper documents. It's a sturdy bag and should protect the Dreamcast well and make it easy to carry around.
All this stuff is shown sitting in my new car, a Toyota Scion XD. I don't have a picture of that yet though. My previous car, a Toyota Scion Xa, had 242,000 miles on it and was leaking carbon monoxide from a beat up exhaust manifold. I had that fixed but other things were starting to leak and so it had to go. It's too bad too because, even with all those miles, it ran like a charm. Those Japanese cars, like their games, are fantastic.
Tomorrow, or rather later today now that it's 3am, I'm going to get my gaming on at my friend Mark's place. I'm going to try out GTA V. I got it almost a year ago after a work friend badgered me to get it. Then I never played it. I'm looking forward less to the story and missions and more to just exploring the enormous city and driving all over the place in it. And I might go fly a plane. I want to do that.
I saw they were labeled Indie Rock by iTunes. Wiki gave the genre descriptors progressive rock, psychedelic rock, and punk rock. The album cover is certainly something not out of place on a prog album. I'll listen to it though. Maybe all these genre descriptors are incorrect.
Thanks. New car is nice.
C'mon man the coolest pickup and no picture? Congrats on the new car. Those Scions are solid cars. I should have checked my Best Buy for Wii games last time I was there. I would have jumped on a copy of SMG. Another spot to check out for computer bags is Ross/Marshall's. They can be hit and miss but it's just another option for cheap bags.
It looks almost exactly like this except it's a little bit grey.
I have a photo on facebook but it won't let me link it here for some reason.
I have to pick up SMG2 this week. I have some reward points I'll use for that. It's still $30. Also, I decided to use the bigger bag for my PS3 super slim.
Congrats for Super Mario Galaxy! Hopefully you won't give up on this one unlike you with other plataforming games.
Of Montreal from what i've seen, it's an Indie darling and one of the best from the genre. I wouldn't know that much sinde I haven't heard much of their output.
I figured out what gets me about platformers. It's the repetition. However, I've become more patient lately, so I think I'll last longer this time. I'm going to make a very great effort to not get to frustrated.
I haven't listened to the Of Montreal album I got yet. I need to get to that. I've been too busy with old stuff.
