That's the thing with used sections, you won't always find what you're looking for, unless you have a huge record store (I miss Tower Records.) For some harder to find stuff I would try Amazon. I like searching through the used stuff at the local mom & pop because of trying something new and the occasional album you want to add to your library.

I filled my swag bag a little early this week and came to a decision. It's no use looking for specific music in used bins anymore. I rarely find what I'm looking for and it ends up amounting to a lot of wasted time. I'm tempted to buy via download, but I'm not that discouraged. I think, I'll just do my search and destroy missions less fequently and pick up anything interesting instead of looking for specific titles.
As for games. I still love going to my retro store (not Gamestop) even if I don't find anything - like today. It turned out that half the baristas from my favorite coffee store are now working at my retro game store and a coffee/desert shop right next door. So I think I'll be making the weekly run there instead of the music stores.
And then there's comics. I stopped at my comic store for the first time in a while and picked up a few things. It was somewhat frustrating though because a lot of stuff from the 80's that I'm looking for now is out of print. Well I got some stuff today anyway shown below:
Those are the first three volumes of the original TMNT comic. It's apparently more adult oriented than the later stuff.
Next to them are issue 1 and 3 of Six From Sirius, a scifi comic from '84. I read #1 today and I loved the art by Paul Gulacy. The story is about a six member team of experts on impossible missions for an alien government. They all can't stand each other too and bicker all the time, which lends it a kind of Guardians of the Galaxy style humor. One member is described thus: "poet, romantic, explosives expert, student of ancient narratives". What a zany set of abilities. LOL! I love it. I only wish I had the other two issues in this series.
Then there's some 1988 music: Danzig's debut album and Cheap Trick's Lap of Luxury which I got from Shady Dog Records.
I searched Jay Street Video Games for several NES titles: Dungeons & Dragons: Pool of Radiance, Ultima: Warriors of Destiny (only saw Exodus), and Mega Man 2. I didn't expect to really see these games, but I was hoping to at least see them on the wall for prices I wasn't willing to pay. Mega Man 2 (loose cart) apparently goes for around $40. It was fun to look around though. They have everything there.
Swag blog blasted out of the sky. KnightDriver heading for home. Mission complete. ZOOOM!
