Monday, Mark and I beat the Ender Dragon in Minecraft. That was a crazy, crazy time. First I used the Eye of Ender to locate the underground stronghold that houses the End Gate. Then we had to get 12 Eyes of Ender to put in the End Gate to activate it. Then upon entering it we realized there was no way out except to die or beat the Ender Dragon, which looked really formidable. You have to destroy eight crystals put on high pilars of unbreakable Obsidian first. They heal the dragon. Then you go to the central nest and the dragon attacks you. Well, the dragon, and his Ender Men henchmen, are always attacking you, but now it flies right down and lands. Now is the time to attack it.

The first thing we did was get killed destroying the crystals because they explode when you hit them. We'd respawn back at the house in the "real" world and race back to the End Gate to get back to the dragon realm to retrieve our stuff. Your items last for only a short while after you lose them. 

So it became this hilarious race to attack the crystals, get killed, run back with whatever we had in reserve (which wasn't much), find our stuff, then attack the crystals again. Finally we got them all and attacked the dragon. We died a few times and were down to no armor and gold swords, which break really quickly. We hacked, and hacked, and hacked and finally the Ender Dragon bit the dust. CHIEVO! 

Then we spent a lot of time trying to find a zombie villager and cure it of zombieism with a weakness potion and a golden food item. We couldn't get it to work and finally had to stop for the night. I've got just four achievements left in the game.
