I need to listen to that Retronauts podcast once in a while. Good find with the Mega Man collection.
1992: Books and a Game Pickup

I don't remember reading anything much in '92. Much later I read Neal Stephenson's Snowcrash. What I'd like to read now from this year are the following:
Timothy Zahn's Dark Force Rising (I think this is one of the books in the Thrawn trilogy, but in any case, I'd like to read more Zahn).
The Pirates of Darkwater comic. I'm still intrigued by this TV cartoon that has the art style very like Don Bluth. I wonder whether the comic has that style too.
Greg Bear's Anvil of Stars. After reading his Halo trilogy of books, I'm a fast fan of The Bear and want to read anything by him.
Toni Morrison's Jazz. I assume this is all about Jazz, and I like learning more about that. It's fiction though, so I'll have to look more into what it's about.
John Gray's Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. This book has gained some fame, so I'm curious what the fuss is all about.
And here's the game I picked up today: Mega Man Anniversary Collection for Xbox. $20 at Jay Street Video Games. I have Mega Man 1 on Virtual Console already, but there were two Mega Man games in '92, 4 and 5, so it seemed wise to have this collection. It has Mega Man 1-8 and MM: Power Battle and MM 2: Power Fighters.
That's Retronauts on my iPod there. Jeremy Parish, Shane Bettenhausen, and Bob Mackey talked about the PS1 for an hour or more. With Shane there, it felt a bit like the 1UP days.
