I may have played Wolfenstien 3D back in '92. I'm not sure. If not in '92 I did soon after with my friend Mark on some old Pentium 75 PCs we got from somewhere. I had no money then, so we must've gotten them free from someplace. In any case, that was the only game I played around that time.
This week, I think, my handheld game will be the remake of the '92 Sega CD RPG Lunar: The Silver Star for PSP called Lunar: Silver Star Harmony. I've played it before, but on easy, and it was very easy. I think this time I'll crank it up a bit. I've played the opening battles already and I'm loving it. The music is really great and the PSP has really good sound.
For my console game on the weekend, I thought I'd play another handheld game but on the big screen, Kirby's Dream Land for GB. It's on the Kirby's Dream Collection I just bought for Wii. I'm sure I'll be playing games on Monday as well, so I guess I'll revisit Wolfenstein 3D on Xbox 360 for a bit too.
Here's some music I got today for my 1992 playlist:
The CDs are for my '92 playlist and are: Rage Against the Machine - self titled; Nirvana - Incesticide; Weird Al Yankovic - Off the Deep End; and Danzig III: How the Gods Kill.
The vinyl is just random stuff I got from the bargain bin at Shady Dog. From left to right: Blues Brothers - self titled, Kool & The Gang - Open Sesame, War - self titled, The Blues Project Live at Cafe Au Go Go, and Steppenwolf Live. I finally got my turntable hooked up. Now I just have to figure out if my PC can recieve the signal. I'm sure I'll get it to work.
