I finished the story missions in Destiny. Mark and I replayed a few missions for fun, but I stopped until he gets the DLC, then I'll get it too, and we can co-op all that. Boy is the shooting in this game fun. It feels like Halo.

Then i went out and got two copies of Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition. This game is about $18 at Gamestop right now. Mark gave me some games to trade, and I was going to use a PowerUpRewards coupon, but it was for $25 and it's only good for one item. I would've wasted $7 using it, so I saved it for something else. We played it the rest of the night. I almost messed up transfering my characters from Diablo III, but I fixed it. This game is dialed down a bit easier than the original version. We played on Hard and it was too easy. Expert was about right. We're playing through the main story again and then we'll tackle the new Adventure mode. I hope to get all the achievements in this game but one of them is going to be tough. It's getting six characters to level 70. I have three active characters at different levels, only one is close to 70, but I am going to go for it. I'm optimizing experience boosts in my equipment.

My Wizard character, now level 66.

Then, in the margins of the day, I played Earthworm Jim and Virtual Kasparov on GBA. Earthworm Jim looks amazing, and I want to love it, but I have such trouble with the controls in this game. I keep getting stuck. Then Virtual Karparov is a Chess game. It's done really well. There's even a story mode where you play made up AI players across the world. But you gotta like Chess. I like Chess ok, but it kinda bores me, to tell the truth.

That's about it for my first weekend day. Tomorrow, more Diablo III: U.E.E. I suppose.

I have Earthworm Jim on the Sega Gamegear. It looks really good on there too.

It has a great art style. I really love the look of it.

I bought my wife Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition for Christmas but we haven't had time to start it yet. Plus my family got hit with a bout of sickness over the last two weeks and that hasn't helped at all either. But I'm really looking forward to trying that one out!

It's so perfect in co-op. You can independently explore and then, at any time, rejoin up using the banners. Just try and stay close together in level progression because it seems to change the difficulty to the highest level player. At least, that's the way it was on Diablo III. I didn't notice that happening on Ultimate Evil Edition but then Mark and I were about the same level the whole time.

I used to rent Earthworm Jim and not make it past the first level.

I launched that cow, then I couldn't progress any farther. This is like the second time I've tried this game too.

Earthworm Jim has its moments, but a lot of it sucks too.  Still, it was quite impressive when I was a kid with its style.  It's the substance I have a problem with.

I remember a flea market I used to go to. They had Earthworm Jim running on a little CRT monitor at one table. I just watched it. It looked wonderful.

it's more fun to watch than play unfortunately....

Yea, it's too bad. I keep going back to hoping for greatness, and then I get frustrated.

Congrats on finishing Destiny. With the newest release of the game is there more story or just maps for multiplayer? That's cool of your friend to give you some games to trade in so you both can have copies of Diablo III.

The Taken King DLC adds a whole lot of content, almost a whole new game from what I'm told.

I got to get back to Diablo. It'll happen soon I'm sure.
