As an earlier fighter, I found that Eternal Champions was rather clunky and slow, once I finally got a chance to play it.

Tested out my replacement Genesis controler on Eternal Champions: Challenge from the Dark Side today. Eternal Champions is a fine 1v1 fighting game. The graphics are nice and the music too. I just don't go for the 1v1 fighting games that much. I'd rather scroll through environments while I fight ala Final Fight. So onward.
I played a bunch more of Ratchet & Clank on PS4. I'm hunting down the rest of the golden bolts and now have only 6 of the total 28 left. Along the way, I got the last RYNO Holocard to unlock the most powerful weapon in the game. Now I just have to work up to the level where you can recieve it.
I'm finding, in Challenge Mode, that the enemies ARE a little bit tougher. Only the weapons that I've upgraded to beyond level 5 really do anything. This is most noticeable in boss fights. I finally stopped saving bolts and bought a bunch of weapons that level to 10. I find that I'm using almost all my weapons. You run out of ammo pretty quickly and there is valuable use for just about every weapon. I like using the Apocalype Glove. It spawns little robot minions that attack enemies and explode. It makes me feel like I'm playing Overlord again.
That's all for Sunday. On to Monday and more gaming - news at 11 or 12, thereabouts.
