I was looking for the Metal Slug Anthology on PS2 or Wii today at Jay Street Video Games but all they had was 4 and 5 on Xbox, so I got that with some discount for trade-ins. Here's a pic:

I'm excited to play these soon. I'll find the rest of them sometime.

Yeah it would be cool if you could get the Anthology, as it has the first six games as well as X.

never played one of these. apparently they're sort of a difficult, acquired taste. But i like the art!

Yea, I hate that they are so difficult, but I love the art so much (kind of like my interest in the Souls games, now I think of it). I think I'll find a way to cheat it as much as possible so I can see every part of the game.

yeah that's how I felt about arcade games when the MAME emulators came out back in the day. the games were so unfair but I loved the art, so I would play through them emulated just to see them.

I'm tempted to try their other podcasts, but I already have so many. I'm not sure I'd get to them. Idle Thumbs has really become one of my top choices week to week now. Those guys are smart AND funny.
