Just More Defense Grid 2

Just played some Defense Grid 2 today with Mark. We played the campaign levels co-op to get gold medals. I have two or three left now. I wish you could toggle the speed during co-op matches. These 35 wave battles take a good long time to complete at 1X speed. I changed the default speed in the settings to 2X but it didn't seem to affect online play. In single player, you can crank it up to 3X speed which is very nice. Defense Grid 2 is a somewhat laid back experience, which is all I could handle today anyway.
I didn't mention in my other blogs that I've been watching video game commercials for the last few weeks. I made a playlist for each year and watched them on my XBO first thing when I went over to Mark's to play. I started at 1980 and now I'm at 1991. I've been watching the Japanese commercials as well. It's a fun way to start a period of gaming, and a bit of a history lesson as well.
Well, that's all I got because what I got right now ain't a lot. Too down to really get into it like I want to. Seems hobbies aren't as fun without having to abstain from them to do work. Here's to hoping for the future. Bye.
