I heard that Fight Night Round 3 was kick ass when played online and that's the way to play it. Did you play it online? Was interested on a personal take since I am considering buying it since I love boxing, but not necessarily boxing games.
Punch-Out!! Purchase, Luigi 3DS, and Lego S.W.

I'm still collecting a few more Next Level Games devoloped games and Punch-Out!! for the Wii was the next on my list. I wanted to get it new as a Nintendo Selects title, but the BestBuy in my area didn't have it, so I had to pick it up at Gamestop for a buck less used. I had to put up will a really pushy salesman too, so it wasn't pleasant.
I remember playing Punch-Out!! in the arcades and thought it was really good. I have to say, I've played very few boxing games, but I always like to see an arcade style cell-shaded boxing game. The only other one I was excited for this generation was FaceBreaker and it disappointed me. I did play Fight Night Round 3 a year or so ago and thought it was excellent, but agian, realistic style boxing games don't appeal to me as much as the more silly ones.
I hope to give Punch-Out!! a try soon, but I am still deeply entrenched in Luigi's Manion: Dark Moon and Lego Star Wars. I got to the first boss in Luigi's Mansion and after several tries beat it and played the first mission in the greenhouse building. The game is just great. The environments are gorgeously detailed and the ghosts really lively as you haul them into your Poltergust 5000, The lighting in the rooms is stunning. I was going down a hallway when lighting flashed and lit up the whole room for an instant and startled me.
I've been playing Lego Star Wars now for 42 hours with a friend of mine. I've been hosting and I noticed that some of the achivements were only showing up for me. I discovered that all the collectable items found and purchases were only saved for the host so achievements for getting all the red and gold bricks, and white and blue mini-kits only unlock for me. This really annoyed me when I noticed it. He still got all the miscellaneous achievements as well as I, but we will now have to replay episodes so that he also gets those other achievements. At first I thought doing this was going to be too tedious and thought about quiting, but as I began playing with my friend as host, I actually still enjoyed the game. There's still a lot of variety in the gameplay, and it's still fun to try and remember where all those hidden items were.
I'm still marveling at how Traveller's Tales has copied the movies frame for frame in certain places while still keeping the pace of the game from getting too slow or sticking too closely to the movies in other places. They inject a lot of humor into the game while at the same time staying very close to the original story and feel of Star Wars. It's fantastic.
