I picked up the last of the Next Level Games developed games I wanted . I tried to get it with the case, but I didn't have the time to really hunt it down at different GameStops like I usually do and so I just got the loose disc.

I played the Spider-Man: Friend or Foe demo when it came out in 2007 co-op with a friend of mine. I was interested in it because you could play the whole campaign co-op even though you had to do it on the same screen since online wasn't supported. It proved not so good with lots of cheap deaths due to control issues, however, I still wanted to get it this week to: keep to my plan of collecting a single developer's games, playing it solo for the achievements which look very easy - Xbox360Achievements.org says it only takes 6 hours to complete all of them - , and because I like comic book character games.

I have little hope of getting to it this coming weekend though because I have 10% left of Lego Star Wars which should take about 12 hours. I will have played the entire game five times to complete all the achievements. They weren't lying on Xbox360achievements.org when they said it was easy but time consuming - about 50 hours or more is an accurate assessment by them.

I played it all this weekend and at the end of it, my co-op buddy finally had enough and quit out after we replayed the story mode to get him those achievements which didn't pop up when I hosted. He'd had enough. I, however, kept on going. I still have the challenge mode to do where you have a ten minute time limit to collect 10 blue mini-kits in each chapter (thankfully not deeply hidden like the white mini-kits were), and the Super Story mode which has you play each episode of six chapters without stopping within an hour time limit. Then I will have the last achievement for 100% completion. I have to finish Lego Star Wars this coming weekend because Pandora's Tower is out the following Tuesday and I want to move on to that.

Pandora's Tower is an action RPG for the Wii which, when I first saw it, made me think 'God of War with Japanese style environments'. This may not be wholly accurate, but I got really excited and couldn't wait to get my hands on it. It's been at least a year since then but I'm glad to finally get to play it (unlike Dragon's Crown which is still not available in North America - I've all but given up hope for that one).

I looked up Pandora's Tower developer Ganbarion Co. and saw a lot of One Piece games based on the anime. I'd like to pick up One Piece: Unlimited Adventure for the Wii latter in the month to check it out, but it's going for $45 used at GameStop for some odd reason, and I'm not sure I'll spend that much for it. There are some One Piece games they made for PS2 and GBA though which might be cheaper.

As for a stylistically similar game I might play if I finish Pandora's Tower quickly, there's Xenoblade Chronicles. Unfortunately, I should've bought it when it came out because it is now at least $100 on eBay and Amazon right now. That's pretty much beyond my budget, so I might pick up Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword instead, since I still haven't played that.

So, in conclusion, it looks like starting 4/16 and for the four weeks following, it is going to be a lot of gaming on the Wii for me and it's about time too because I've played the Wii very little so far this generation.

Dragon's Crown has a US release date for PS3 and Vita sometime in August I think.

I've used the guide for a couple of games now and I've found their information pretty accurate. I followed it religiously for Lego Star Wars and it's helped make the game even more fun for me.

This blog reminds me I just have one achievement left in Lego Indy...

Nice! It's fun to use the achievement list as a kind of guide for playing the game, but not for all games. I totally ignored the achievements in Mass Effect because I just wanted to experience the story and play in my own way.

I'll let you in on why One Piece for Wii goes for so much. Basically it was only produced in a limited capacity and unfortunately didn't sell well. You're going to be hard pressed to find it for less than $40 because of it's perceived rarity. Just check ebay and amazon. Even the Unlimited Cruise games that weren't released in the U.S. are fetching for over $40. Trust me on this. I have all 3 and somehow managed to get all 3 for less than $100.

That's the annoying thing about some Wii games. They should all be so cheap right now but a few are just overpriced because of rarity due to low production numbers. Thanks Nintendo. Not!

I will go to my one retro store in my area and see if the PS2 and GBA One Piece games are there and at some reasonable price.
