Bunch of pick-ups in the last few days, but first a Halloween pic of a yard full of ghouls I took while on the road at work.

Now for the pick-ups. First there's Atari Flashback Classics Vol. 1 and 2 for XBO just out this week - $20 each. Then I needed the central Skylander figure here Enigma because there are only two trap masters per element for Skylanders Trap Team, and I gave Mark my Blastermind. I had to go to several far stores to find it. Along the way I picked up a few others I didn't have like the Mini Eye Small, Mini Trigger Snappy up front; and Heavy Duty Sprocket (the one with the tank).

Finally I realized that 2017 is coming soon and that means Earth Defense Force. The first game to come to the U.S. was called Earth Defense Force 2017, so I wanted to make sure I had all the games. The two for the current gen systems are EDF 4.1 (PS4) and EDF 2 (Vita). I've played a little bit of both of them already, but I'd like to get deeper into them. Now if only XBO would put the 360 games on backwards compatibility, I could play EDF 2017, Insect Armageddon, and EDF 2025.

That's all folks.

i'd like those flashback classics, but my favorite atari game, Solaris, is never on them. It's owned by another guy, who I guess doesn't want to re-release it.  I would love to play it again.

Uh oh, looks like you're gonna do some bug killin'!

I got both volumes for PS4, mostly for Yars' Revenge, Centipede, and Millipede. Bummer that Doug Neubauer is so picky about allowing Atari to include Solaris on the collection, but it is what it is.

Yea, Solaris. I'd like to play it. I'm interested to see how the U.I. is for this collection and any special features like challenges across multiple games like they have in Rare Replay.

I figured you owned all the EDF games already. I've thought about getting the one on Vita because it feels like a franchise that's perfect for portable gaming.

These are actually rebuys since I stupidly traded them. I do stuff like that. I figure I'll never play them again and then something sparks my interest again. I got these for about $30, so it wasn't too bad.

The EDF on Vita is pretty cool and works surprisingly well. However, I desperately want this on the big screen to see the big bugs all big. . . and stuff.
