well u know, if you wait on the new Pokemon, there's supposed to be a version for Switch called "Stars" that was the news today. It makes sense a mainline Pokemon game would come out for Switch at some point, but now they're saying next year sometime. I would buy that.

I Have Caught Em' All...
Hello everyone, how are you? Well I finally did it, I completed my Pokedex in Pokemon Y! I completed it on October 29!
That's not all...
I completed the Pokedex in Omega Ruby as well!This one I completed on November 15.
I even tweeted to Junichi Masuda about my accomplishment and he replied! That goal felt even more amazing, having someone who works on these games, reply to you about your accomplishment. I think I might of cried when that happened, it just felt more meaningful.
For those of you who don't know, currently, there's 721 Pokemon (as of X/Y), well there's more now that the new games are out. But that's 1442 Pokemon I had to obtain across 2 different games. For the record, I have completed the Pokedex in Pokemon Pearl, Platinum, and Soul Silver years ago. At the time there was only 493 Pokemon, making it a total of 1479 across 3 games. That's 37 less Pokemon. But the goal seemed much more far out of reach. Like back in 4th Gen, that was 493 Pokemon to obtain vs. 721 that I had to obtain now.
But yeah, this time it was different. It was a combined effort of different trainers from around the world that helped me make this possible. Like everyone helped, be it words of encouragement or trading Pokemon, everyone helped out in their own way. Especially when the odds are against you, you have to keep pushing forward. It took me 3 years, because I stopped playing, but glad it's over. So thank you all for helping me accomplish this goal. Completing the Pokedex is definitely at the top of my favorite gaming accomplishments. My favorite one.
As for Pokemon Sun and Moon, I am excited. Sadly I might need to skip out on them. I was so hyped for it, but my little brother's birthday is a few days after and bought him a present with the money I was going to use for Moon. That and I made a promise on something, which I intend to keep. Not sure if I can get it, but sometimes we must make sacrifices. That and I'd rather see someone else happy.
