It looks like a cool game. Sadly, I have a flip phone.
BaD #2: A Day with SlamBots

Here's a cool little game. SlamBots is very simple, fundamentally. Your character automatically bounces and you tilt your phone to move left and right. Now tilt controls is generally a red flag for me—I don't think they work well most of the time—but tilting feels very natural in this case and works quite well. No complaints there. The game plays on a single screen that can scroll upwards if necessary. Bad guys and power ups appear randomly and you bounce on them for points and coins. Consecutive bounces build up a multiplier. The name of the game comes from your ability to tap and hold the screen and slam down on enemies, which gets you a lot more points. You can't slam down continuously, though, because you have a slam energy meter that depletes with each slam and comes back over time. You can spend your coins on upgrades (for your slam meter and regeneration, for instance), new characters and slammers, and new stages. You can buy more coins with real money as well as a coin doubler but none of that is necessary to play it and have fun (like me). It's a great little game to play if you have a few minutes. I've certainly enjoyed it.
