Really wish I could get my hands on Rare Replay.
Trading for the Switch

I'm going through my collection now and trading in anything I don't have strong feelings about and saving the credit to help pay for a Switch, when I can get my hands on one. I tore through my XBO/PS4 games yesterday; and today, I hit the first shelf of Xbox 360 games. I saved some. Here's some of the stuff I saved.
XBO:
Halo: Master Chief Collection. How could I get rid of a game that's actually five games in one.
Rare Replay. 30 games here. Don't want to let that go.
A bunch of stuff I still have over at Mark's place like: Diablo III: U.E.E., Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, and Halo 5. These games, with campaign co-op, will always have replay value - not going to trade them.
Toys to Life games: Disney Infinity 2.0, 3.0, Lego Dimensions and the Four Skylanders games (Trap Team, Swap Force, Superchargers, and Imaginators). These games are worth nearly nothing on trade, plus, I'll always have another figure to try out in these games. Toys R Us right now is having a buy-1-get-3-free sale right now. So tempting. There are still a few figures I don't have. Must resist!
PS4:
Earth Defense Force 4.1. This one's not going anywhere. It's always a fun game to play and tons of levels. To platinum this would take a seriously long time. I enjoy it too much to trade.
Xbox 360:
I only went through the games A-G, so among them I kept the following:
Blue Dragon. Never did quite finish off the last boss in this game. Mark and I played it in tandem; he beat it, I didn't. I'd like to replay it someday and finish the fight.
Condemned: Criminal Origins and Condemned 2. I really loved the first Condemned. I enjoyed the hand to hand combat. It creates some serious tension that I actually like. Most horror games I don't like, but someone coming at with me with a spiked bat is something I get a rush out of. Can't wait to find the time to play Condemned 2.
Disney Infinity 1.0, 2.0. I don't really need 2.0 now that there's an XBO version, but, again, these games trade for peanuts, so why not keep them. 1.0 is essential, though, because it's only on X360. I still haven't gotten all the achievements in it yet and there's a few more figures I could use in it.
Earth Defense Force series (2017, Insect Armageddon, 2025). All very replayable and Insect and 2025 have excellent online co-op gameplay (2017 is couch co-op only). All have achievements that take a crazy amount of time to complete. I'm keeping them.
Eat Led: The Return of Matt Hazard. "I'm down to my last squirt!" is a comment made in the game when you use a certain weapon. I watched Mark play this and that comment is still something I say during gaming sessions for fun. I haven't even played the game! I have a lot of respect for good humor in games. This may not be the best according to reviews, but some good comic dialog will win me over every time. I'll find the time to play this eventually.
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The game that sold me a X360. I still vividly remember playing it and ignoring the whole story to just gather plants and make potions. Later I used a walkthrough to try and finish the story and DLC, but I'm not sure I ever actually finished it. Who cares? I just like to mess around in that world. This game should be burned into the mother board of the system.
Eternal Sonata. JRPG on X360? I can't get rid of that. Now, maybe I should play it.
Fable Anniversary and Fable II. Why not Fable III? I don't have a copy of Fable III to trade and I thought that maybe I should pick it up to have the complete series on X360. I'm still debating that. Why did Fable III have to go so action RPG? Does Molyneux always have to follow the trends? He should've made another hard core RPG like Fable II. The system needs that. It frustrates me to no end. I mean, I liked Fable III, but it doesn't hold a special place in my heart like 1 and 2. I really miss the Fable series. Why can't they at least do a HD version of the whole series for XBO? What's up with that!
Some Kinect games: Fable: The Journey and The Gunstringer. I still want to check these out. I know Kinect is dead and all, but Gunstringer is agueable the best game for it and I have to cast a spell in the Fable universe.
Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage. How can I relive Final Fight? Fist of the North Star with all the hilarious yelling that comes with it. I like a good brawler. Let me brawl!
Tomorrow will likely see me go through the next shelf of X360 games, probablay H-L, then M-Z, then the Wii shelf. I've already traded most of my PS3 games. Then I'll have to trade the Xbox/PS2/Gamecube gen games at Jay Street for something other than Switch money. I'll have to think about what I don't have that I should have and maybe pick those up. I'm really keen to have Skyrim HD on XBO permanently. So much game there and MODS! I can't wait to try those.
That's a blog. Onward. . .
