I'm too tired to understand why I just watched an ostrich video.
20 more projects to grade on my desk, 20 more projects to grade; it's 10:15 (PM) here, and I want a beer, but there's 20 more projects to grade on my desk.

These are the undead figures from Skylanders Giants.
Eye-Brawl, Lightcore Hex, Hex, Cynder, Chop Chop, Fright Rider
Eye-Brawl came to be when a headless giant and flying eyeball got into a hundred year fight in the land of the undead. After all that fighting, they finally decided it was better to combine their powers and become one of the most powerful Skylanders of all time. Eye-Brawl has a twin brother Dive-Clops who appears in Superchargers.
These "big eye" characters are my favorite of the series.
Lightcore Hex, Hex, Cynder and Chop Chop return from Spyro's Adventure. I like this series 2 Hex and the skull in a sphere she holds above her head. She's apparently very fond of skulls and uses them in her attacks. Hex was a very common figure in the stores around me. She must've been popular.
Fright Rider was once a jousting team made up of Rider the elf and Fright an ostrich. They won the jousting championship three years in a row before a jealous opponent cursed Rider to the land of the undead. Fright ate some skele-oats to turn himself into a living skeleton and went to rescue Rider. He was successful and when they returned they dedicated themselves to protecting others from harm. Master Eon made them Skylanders.
This story reminds me of the opera by Gluck called Orpheus and Eurydice where Orpheus rescues Eurydice from the underworld. I guess Fright impressed Cupid like Orpheus did. I wonder if it was his ostrich singing voice?
