Here are the variant figures I have for Skylanders Giants.

Molten Hot Dog, Jade Flashwing, Punch Pop Fizz, Glow-in-the-Dark Cynder

Molten Hot Dog is a yellow variant of Hot Dog. He plays the same. Who can resist that cute pup?

Jade Flashwing is a green and gold version of Flashwing. From what I’ve read, I’m pretty sure she plays the same but confirmation is needed.

Punch Pop Fizz is a red variant of Pop Fizz made for the 3DS version of the game. I imagine he’ll work fine in the console game too.

Glow-in-the-Dark Cynder was a Walmart exclusive and only in the starter pack. I haven’t seen it glow yet, so that’s weird.

Not present are: Granite Crusher, Scarlet Ninjini, Gnarly Tree Rex, and Royal Double-Trouble. I saw Granite Crusher in a Gamestop not too long ago and didn’t get it, trying to limit my purchases to just the regular figures, but I regret it now. That one looked cool.

Maybe it has to be really dark to see it. I don't know. All I know is that I looked at it on my shelf in the middle of the night and saw nothing.

I have that red Pop Fizz and a silver Spyro figure. They only gave it out at E3.

Try holding the glow in the dark one next to a bright light source and then turn off the light. It may work then.

I think I read this somewhere, but all those blue and gold variants I think they made for autism awareness, since I think those are the colors for that.

That's surprising that Skylanders didn't release a set of figures that were glow in the dark. It would add to the toy aspect of the figures.

It's supposed to glow. Maybe I didn't get it in a dark enough room.
