Are you a metroid fan? Are u gonna get the new metroid game?
Forza. Man, I really feel the need to play a racing game. I have project cars on PS4, but I just haven't had time. My projects eat up everything.

I played a level in Hey! Pikmin today while waiting for a pizza. The game is beautiful. As I fly around the levels with my flying pikmin carrying me, I keep thinking of old arcade games as I send some out to kill an enemy or pick up a sparklium. I think it's the verticality of some of the levels and the way the sparklium is arranged in patterns seeming floating in air. It's like an old school arcade shooter sometimes.
Then I watched some Space 1999 on youtube. I'm on a 1975 kick this month and that was the TV show I most wanted to resee that debuted that year. It's produced by Gary Anderson of Thunderbirds fame, so there's a lot of real models of spacships and sets used for the special effects. I love that stuff. Reminds me of when I built plastic models as a kid. Plus it looks really cool. Youtube doesn't have all the episodes so I watched season 1 episode 1 last week and some random episode I think was from season 1 this week. I make do with free.
I got entangled in Minecraft again after that. Mark had created his character with crazy powerful armor and equipment in creative mode and then I jumped in when he switched to survival. I just stayed with what I could find and build. I don't really like precrafting a character like that. We made it to The End, killed the Ender Dragon, and traveled to the End City for the very first time. Unfortuneately we couldn't get the two achievements you can get there because we had a host privelege on and we had started in creative mode. To do this purely in survival with no special settings is quite a daunting task and nerve wracking. You die in the that mode, you lose all your gear unless you can return to the spot and reclaim it within 5 or 10 minutes. It's not impossible though, just too time consuming for me at the moment.
And with time on my mind. I've been trying to think of ways to get to the fun in Minecraft as quickly as possible. I've decided that your sword is the most important piece of gear and that I should focus on nothing but increasing it's power. Then move on to the pick axe, bow and then armor. The rest aren't really important enough to give the magic treatment to.
That's a day. Tomorrow, more of that. I got Forza Motorsport 5 on Games with Gold and got a copy of Battlefield Bad Company and played the first cut scenes. I remembered it pretty clearly from when I played it way back when. I gotta get away from Minecraft first though.
I have it on my watch list. I'm not sure though. If I'm done with Hey Pikmin I might go back to Fire Emblem Echoes or get Ever Oasis instead. The RPG is strong with this one.
I'm going to start the install of Forza 5 tomorrow (meant to do it today but forgot in the Minecraft frenzy). I want to drive some virtual cars. Maybe I'm missing my full time driving gig I had (only pt now - and not at night. Wish I could change my user name since it doesn't apply anymore).
