LEGO Indiana Jones is one of the better early LEGO games. When I was in marching band in high school, one of our shows was an Indiiana Jones themed show, so I know the music very, very well.
Lego Puzzle Horizon

I bought Lego Indiana Jones today. It became backwards compatible for XBO earlier this year. I'd played it before, but didn't complete it. I looked up the achievements and it looks like I played through the main story and that was it. I didn't go for all the collectibles. Well, I will now. But, I just installed the game and played some other stuff today.
Puzzle Quest. My druid is now a fire druid who must purge his enemies of their non-druidic ways. He wears them down to a sliver of health and then exacts his punishment by keeping them alive while he mines for gold to give to his temple of holy hellfire. While he is doing this he sings the holy hellfire song "Fire" by Arthur Brown singing, "I am the god of hellfire, and I bring you/ Fire, I'll take you to burn." I'm role playing it to the max. But after dozens of ogres served up to the god of hellfire, I got a little tired and wanted to try something else. Plus, my eyes were blurring from staring at those grids of gems for so long.
I tried Forza Horizon, which I had gotten free from Games with Gold on Xbox 360 a while ago. This is a really excellent racer that's just my type of game. It's a little more arcade style but still very realistic and fast. You get a great sense of speed similar to the Burnout games (nothing beats Burnout's feeling of speed). I also likened it to Project Gotham Racing that I played on original Xbox many moons ago: only, Forza Horizon doesn't ask you to perform races to absolute perfection like PGR. I love the open world areas that have all the race locations on them, the personalities of the other racers you are up against in single player, and the deep customization of your car's look and performance. I'm going to get deep into this game and probably the whole series when I can get a hold of the other games. Too bad I couldn't get Mark a copy of Forza Horizon. He missed the free download and the game goes for $20 right now. If it was $10, I would've run out and got him a copy.
Well, onto the weekend. I can't believe I actually have one. This is like the second sat/sun I've had while working. How'd I manage that? I ask myself.
