I don't know if you'll have access to that DLC on a new system, but I could be wrong. Kinda shitty.
Be careful, gargoyles can be bitches.

Fable II continues.
I'm in the last few events of the main story. I haven't been trying to finish the game. I've been hunting for gargoyles and keys. I'm at 45 of 50 gargoyles and probably as many keys. Those last few require purchases of some of the richest property in Albion. I bought a farm for 75K to get one. Now I need 100K for another, and eventually 1M for the castle - the ultimate prize. So, I've been buying cheap rental property and businesses whenever I can. I also regularly adjust rents and sale prices to match the local economies whenever I come through town. I think that will maximize profits. When I finish the story and get down to those last few gargoyles and keys, I'll focus a little more on the economics and see if I can make more quicker.
I think the story is really well written. There's a lot of good dialog, both funny and serious. There's great voice acting too. The music is perfectly applied to different events in the game to create atmosphere and drama. It's just a delightful package. It's a real joy to explore and complete quests, as well as manage families and businesses.
I got the Platinum Edition of the game to get all the DLC. I hope it'll be there on XBO. I popped it in after installing the regular version and there wasn't a new update. I thought I'd have to reinstall it. That makes me nervous. I'll find out when I finish the main quest, I think.
I was going crazy trying to find the DLC. Finally I just uninstalled the regular version and installed the Platinum Hits (GOtY) one and then freaked out more it wasn't working. Then I looked in the que and saw the DLC being downloaded and I was relieved. It's so annoying MS doesn't make it clear that if you have the Platinum Hits disc, the DLC will work. They want you to buy it again as a download, which you can do with the regular version of the game.
It's kind of hilarious when you can hear them teasing you and you can't quite find them. I wanted to hear all their taunts but a lot of them repeated the same ones. "Kiss my stoney ass!" was a frequent one.
I think of him whenever I'm doing some kind of gambling in the game or when I'm subject to random BS that requires me to return to a spot over and over. There's a picture of him in the credits showing himself as some kind of old fashioned huckster or snake oil salesman. Ken Levine made fun of himself that way in Bioshock being the voice of the vending machine. I think it's truer for Moleunux.
