These are all the other variants from Skylanders SuperChargers that aren't legendaries or holiday/seasonal themed ones. I only have a few of them. I never meant to collect any of the variants anyway. They just entered my collection kind of by accident. So here's some Power Blue figures I have.

pbs

Power Blue Splat, Power Blue Splatter Splasher, Power Blue Gold Rusher

The Power Blue characters were made to raise awareness of Autism. The Autism Speaks organization's color is blue.

I remember rolling into a Toys-R-Us in a different town one day and saw they had a buy-1-get-2-free sale, or something along those lines. They had a few I wanted, one of them being Gold Rusher. That it was the Power Blue variant wasn't my interest but I didn't have that one and that's all they had. The Splat and Splatter Splasher variants I got to fill out the sale. They were free. I still need Trigger Happy to drive that Gold Rusher though.

The other Power Blue character was Power Blue Trigger Happy.

There were Dark variants and a whole Dark Starter Pack. I almost got that when it was super cheap, but I wasn't really into playing dark versions of the characters. They're so cheerful. Why would I want evil versions of them. But they did a Dark Hammer Slam Bowser and his Clown Cruiser, which actually look kind of cool now that I see them again.

dhsbdcc

Dark Spitfire and Dark Streak. Also looking kind of cool. Batman wouldn't look bad in that vehicle.

dsdhs

Dark Super Shot Stealth Elf. Her vehicle was a Nitro variant instead of dark, strangely enough.

sssenss

Dark Turbo Charge Donkey Kong and his vehicle, Dark Barrel Blaster.

dtcdkdbb

Dark Sea Shadow. Weird they didn't do a Dark Nightfall, but Nightfall is kinda dark already.

Then there are Steel Plated Smash Hit and Golden Hot Streak. Golden Hot Streak appeared in random starter packs.

spshghs

Nitro Soda Skimmer.

nss

And that's all there is for SuperChargers. Up next, Skylanders Imaginators.

The only variants I have are a Dark Spyro that came with one of the games I reviewed, and a solid silver painted Spyro that I got at E3 one year.  I haven't opened that one yet.

I noticed there was a special E3 Hot Streak.

e3hs  Kinda cool.

By the time Superchargers came out, the folks at E3 weren't letting me in the show anymore.

That sucks. Pixlbit needs its E3 rep there every year.

that's a plush hovercraft at the bottom.

Bowser looks cool.

Bowser's gonna take that plush hovercraft and take his posse for a joy ride. I'm hearing a song about that right now. And a video ala those weird Pee Wee Herman style White Zombie videos.

The varients can become a pain to collect. This series is such a darn money-pit, but I love it. I haven't bought any new figures in awhile so I'm due for a few new ones.

It's scary to think about buying these things at full price. I didn't even think about it until 2015 when they started to go on sale.

That's really cool that there is an Autism Awareness variants. Do the characters in game change to blue as well? I know with the Disney Infinity Toys R Us clear figures they were clear in game.

This past weekend Toys R Us had the Wii Starter Pack for super cheap (under $5 maybe) and I thought about picking up a set and trying Bowser in the PS3 game. I figure it won't work but it would have been interesting to try.

I should have bought the dark set when i had the chance. I would have liked to unlock the Dark Levels and now the local GameStops don't have as many figures as they used to.

Yea, they're blue in the game. All the cosmetic changes to the toys happen in-game too. They just don't have any special moves, which sucks.

Bowser definitely won't work on PS3. Only Nintendo systems unfortuneately. I thought they functioned as amiibo's as well, but I tried one and it didn't.

I kind of want the dark set now too for completionist reasons. It was so cheap last time I saw it, like $12. I should've got it.

Designs like the Dark Streak always remind me of Judas Priest album covers. Painkiller, specifically.

Ha ha. Yea. Priest covers. That would be a really strange cosplay band. One that did Skylanders but in the style of Judas Priest. Kaos could totally pull off a Rob Halford with his bald head.
