That's one of the main problems I had with Romanacing SaGa 2 Remastered is that it's a digital game from a non-digital world. They don't provide you with good instructions because when this game was made, they didn't need to. You just read the instruction booklet to find out things like, how to add more members to your party and other basic gameplay details. It's very obtuse.

Started with Okami HD today, then some Romancing Saga 2 while Forza Horizon 3 updated and then FH3 the rest of the time.
I got to that point in most RPGs where you're not quite sure what to do next, so you wander around doing anything you can see to do. Then somehow you stumble onto the main story again. Then you get lost again. I'm leveling and gaining more brush skills. I got the one for manipulating water today. Somehow I don't have the one for wind yet and I think I missed something, but maybe not. All I know is there are these leaf piles that definitely hide stuff that can only be revealed by wind. I'll get them eventually, I suppose.
Romancing Saga 2 is fine for killing time during an update. I found it kind of funny to look at the 8-bit style graphics and then look over at Mark playing Forza Horizon 3 with near photorealistic cars and environments. That these two things can be played at the same time is kind of amazing. I cleared out a goblin infested cave system. My guys mostly handled it but I forgot to add another party member because I didn't know how until I got back to the village and talked to a mercenary in the bar. You need five members to make an cross-shaped formation, and I only had four. I'm not sure what to do next. I talked to everyone in the castle and no one tells me anything new. But, my update was done, so I saved and left it for another time.
I went about clearing a bunch more achievements in Forza Horizon 3, some by accident and some on purpose. At one point, the game told me I was winning a little too easy on the default difficulty and suggested I bump it up to Highly Skilled. I did and why not. It was ok and I found the challenge helpful in making me better. I managed to win a few races too. I'll keep it on this second to highest difficulty until I can't make any more progress, but I don't think that'll happen since there are so many events to do. I did the last Showcase race and got a credit scroll. Now I'm trying to level all my Festivals to the max. I've got two levels left. This game's races are pretty incredible. They take place in even wilder environs as more unlock. One had me race down a river bed in a forest. This game looks pretty too. See this screenshot I took.
Probably more gaming tomorrow. This is kind of my weekend here in the middle of the week right now with work on the weekends and school at the beginning of the week.
