Toy Tyme: Disney Infinity 2.0 - Wave 3

This the final wave of figures for Disney Infinity 2.0. These added one or two new figures to the various Play Sets plus one more for Toy Box. I'm missing just a few of them. Here's what I got.

Ronan The Accuser, Yondu, Green Goblin, Falcon and. . . whoops that's not for D.I. 2.0

I showed Captain America from the Marvel Battlegrounds Play Set that came out for D.I. 3.0. That's a mistake. I'll ignore him for the moment.

I was most thrilled with Green Goblin, who rides on a floating board, and Ronan's mallet was kind of fun to use. I only just barely used Falcon and Yondu, but when I get back to the game on XBO, I'll check them out more thoroughly.

I'm missing Loki loki , Black Suit Spider-Man bss , and Princess Jasmine . I think I'd still like to have Loki. Black Suit Spider-Man actually came out with the PS Vita starter pack and almost a year later as a single character pack and so is probably hard to find now. I could take or leave him.

Onto Disney Infinity 3.0, or as I like to call it, Disney Infinity Star Wars.

I heart Jasmine. Man, I wish the movies used Falcon's comic costume instead of that paramilitary look.

I love Black Suit Spider-Man and Jasmine was part of my um ... development growing up. I could take or leave Loki.

I didn't know that about Black Spider-Man. I saw that figure a couple of times but never thought anything of it. Of course looking back it makes sense when I saw it because there was a used DI base and game for the Vita also being sold on the pegs at GameStop.

Turns out he was released singly for D.I. 3.0 Marvel Battlegrounds and has a completely different move set from original Spider-Man. I think i want it now.

My wife wanted to get Disney Infinity for her nieces and nephews back when it was a thing. I was a little shocked when Disney pulled the plug, but these days the only games as toys I really see that much of anymore are Amiibos and Lego Dimensions. I have picked up a few Amiibos because I'm a huge Nintendo fan. I guess Disney only wants to do mobile games and farm the rest out to EA (yuck), who basically treat console games like mobile games these days.

Yea, the toys-to-life game fad came and went, although there was that one game at E3 last year that had toy spaceships. I wonder what happened to that project.
