Dead Space is a game I respect more than I used to but still didn't find it all that great. It was in a weird limbo of action and horror even though it wasn't scary and not as well designed action wise as something like Resident Evil 4. 2 was a lot better for me, but The Evil Within 2 was closer to what I wanted from Dead Space.

Blog a Day #12
Hello everyone how are you? I'll continue where I left off from my favorite PS3 games I played last year...
Need For Speed Rivals: I remember I wrote about this one last year that I got it for xmas 2016 but I ended finishing it early last year. It's a really great game and I really enjoyed it since it combines plenty of the things I love about NFS. I may get it again on the PS4 to give it a go since I've been craving for a racing game on it.
Dead Space: This is another game I've been wanting to play for a very long time since it's supposed to be a very good game. I got it on sale as a digital game last year and I really enjoyed it. It's not as scary as people make it out to be but I can say that a lot of the things in it are disturbing. Unfortunately EA closed down the studio that made it so finding a physical copy at a good price could be challenging. Definitely want to check out 2 eventually.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax: I've been getting into 2D fighting games recently. This one is a fighting game based on Persona 4 (with characters from Persona 3) and one thing I always wondered about this after playing 2 of the Persona games is, how a fighting game based on them is. I found out and the game is a lot of fun. The game is a sequel to the original Persona 4 Arena and at the same time takes place after Persona 4. There is dlc you can get that tells you the story of the first P4 Arena in case you didn't play that one. One thing I have to say is that Arc System Works make some damn great fighting games.
And those are all the PS3 games I played in 2017. Thanks for reading and...
