Notes:
Super Street Fighter IV: A maintenance guy was in the room fixing the sink and I didn't want to look like a big baby playing Skylanders so I played Super Street Fighter IV. It was on my short games list anyway.
I played arcade mode and it was a lot of fun, only, I didn't know how to pull off a super move for the longest time.
I love the character art and animations. So physical. It made me want to devote my life to fitness and a fighting sport. I wish I was better a the game though. I beat arcade mode on easiest, but that's not saying much. I switched to Medium because that's the lowest difficulty you can get achievements on. I made some progress but I didn't beat the game. With more practice I can do it, I certain of that. Even after I figured out how to do super moves, I still had trouble doing them. Tricky game, but fun.
Minecraft: Made some more progress towards finding the Stronghold. I got another Eye of Ender and it led me another quarter mile into the wilderness before it broke. I'm leaving markers so I can get back to the village without a map. And speaking of which, map making has been changed, to my eternal annoyance. It used to be that when you activated a second map, it would sinc up nicely with your previous one. Not anymore. I think, unless you activate the second one very close to the first one, it creates a new center point and then the map grids don't match up anymore. Now I can't hang up multiple maps on my wall and see a larger picture of the world. Very annoying. I wish they'd change that and let me put marks on the map as well. Any good pirate would want this.
Skylanders Imaginators: Getting deep into the main story and discovering that I played most of it before. I might have even beaten it before. Well, I'm still unlocking achievements by finding new things in the world and playing more minigames.
My main created character is evolving in look as I discover new equipment with better buffs. I'm getting quite silly with it now. I've changed his super deep voice for a high pitched elf girl and had her say something like, " watch out for my dancing zombies". The character voices also say other things you have no contol over and one made me laugh out loud for a full minute. I also love taking selfies of my character. The game has selfie photo locations that get you a money reward for shooting them. Then you can take them to the Academy and put them on the wall. I love seeing you shots hung on the wall there. This character creation thing is really fun.
Also, I'm using a few sensei characters when they are called for in special battles and levels. I've got Blaster Tron and Chopscotch but sometimes I have to use pack-in characters King-Pen and Golden Queen. I have all the level packs and they have additional characters in them. I'm bringing over the first one, Gryphon Park Observatory, today, which has Sensei Air Strike.
Also, at the end of the day, I got two new games from Games with Gold, Vanquish and Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain and Minecraft got a serious update adding sea related creatures and matterials. So much to do. I'm loving it.
