I'm getting the SEGA Genesis Classics game, too. I'll probably write a blog about it, but I probably won't get around to it until after I get back trom E3.
A Couple Days of Notes All Together

I've got a new class this week learning how to create web pages, so I've been busy. But last weekend I got some gaming done. Here's the notes:
Minecraft: I FOUND THE STRONGHOLD!!! It was in a Stronhold Village on the third map from my starting village. I got there riding a pig. I dug down and located the Library and End Portal. Then I transported the books from the library back to my original village on horseback. If I had villagers left in my original town after the zombie apocalypse, they might have cheered me.
I nearly finished the library around my enchantment table but was a few bookcases short. Instead of traveling the considerable distance to the Stronghold village for more, I took a break instead and switched games.
This is turning out to be a perfect seed. I hope to perfect my magical buffs to my equipment and make the appropriate potions to aid me in the assault on the Dragon's lair.
I'm also considering creating a second set of equipment so that Mark can join in and help me defeat the dragon. It's too bad that you can't bring a character with his equipment from game to game. Any game you enter, you have to start anew.
Fable Fortune: This Fable themed card game finally went free-to-play. Mark and I both played it. Mark rage quit it at first but came back when I discovered the key strategy you need to win against the AI. Its using the "guard" ability. Each turn you can spend gold to set a figure (brought to life by the cards) in a guard state. The enemy now has to attack that figure first before any other. Otherwise, they can go right over your defences and attack your hero and win pretty quickly. For me, the offensive strategy was to get rid of the guarding figure on the enemy side and then attack their hero directly.
I got pretty far in the single player content and then Mark and I fought each other and played a co-op match. Pretty fun, I thought, so I played against random online people in a couple different versus modes. People experienced in this game have custom decks and I didn't have a chance. So I figured out how to make my own deck from the cards I had and won. I was still not good enough. I also hit a wall against a strong AI opponent, so I stopped for now.
The game is a lot like Magic: The Gathering. I like it, but now I have to devise a deck strategy. That gets to another level of complexity. Maybe I'll work on that again sometime.
Skylanders Imaginators: I finished another main quest area using a variety of self created characters and sensei. Everytime I have to rest a figure, I use another one until they get knocked down.
I'm unlocking some of the ultimate moves of the figures and they are key to beating bosses. Plus they are fun to watch in action.
I made a bunch of screen shots of how my characters are evolving in look, but I forgot to upload them again. I'm always playing right up to the last moments and then have to run.
Well, I may get some gaming in during the week when I finish my school work. Sega Genesis Classics is out next week after Memorial Day. I can't wait for that.
