I played Jet Set Radio on my laptop, and for some reason it just seems too stiff to control with the 360 pad. Witcher III I put down shortly after killing that griffin. It just didn't hook me.
Dreamcast Meets XBO

Here's a picture of my Dreamcast. I plugged it in to go through some games I might want to trade. Then I got back to business on XBO.
Dreamcast: Ran through a number of titles I had like Fur Fighters MDK2, and Crazy Taxi. Fur Fighters has an annoying look mechanic. I think the view springs back to center when you let up on the analog stick and I really find that distracting expecially when I was trying to fly with the dragon character. MDK2's look mechanic is much better but not perfect. It's kind of a pain to get an accurate aim when you need it. You can zoom in but that's not going to happen in a fast batte. Crazy Taxi is cool, but I have it on XBO digitally, so I don't really need it for Dreamcast just to hear Offspring and see Pizza Hut ads. I had problems getting Chu Chu Rocket to play. I think it had a bad stratch on it. Jet Grind Radio is great because you can do a lot with the skating controls and has wonderful sound and graphics. I'm keeping that one.
Banner Saga 2: Got farther in the campaign. I'm doing the training missions as much as possible. I had almost 70 renown at one point. Boy I wish I'd known about this in BS1. I was able to really level up a lot of characters.
Trivial Pursuit Live: I'm still playing it to get to 25 wins, but I don't win all that much. I think I have 12 wins so far. But, it's fun so I'll keep playing it here and there for an hour or so.
Witcher 3: Oh man, I was just going to play this for a few hours but got hooked again and played the rest of the evening. I killed a Gryphon, another Specter a bunch of wolves, a huge bear, various ghouls and undead, and a bunch of bandits. I think I acquired a scar on my face from dying once trying to jump a gap. I keep forgetting that you don't have realistic momentum and have to keep the stick forward during the jump. Seems stupid to me, I'm not constantly propelling myself through the air, I'm just riding the momentum of my jump, but whatever. I fell and died and probably the game gave me a facial scar for that. It looks hideous and I wish it would go away.
Anyhow, this game is so much fun. I ride my horse around and pick up herbs and discover new areas with villagers who tell their own interesting stories that lead to battles with demons and discoveries of loot. I learned how to craft items and made some chest armor that changed how I looked. I'm making potions and using them in battle all the time. That and the glyphs that activate magic and oils to annoint your swords. Despite all that, I think I'm still fighting very sloppy and have come close to death several times. I might have gotten the scars from that as well.
I got a crossbow and use that as a secondary weapon. There's a lot to do in battles. You got to use the right sword, steel or silver, and put all the potions, oils and magic together into a strategy. I've been just prepping up before a battle and then swinging and dodging like mad.
Man, I'm loving this game. I'm going to try and renew my rental, if it doesn't have a hold on it. It's a vast game and will take weeks for me to finish, if I can.
Oh and also, the story is fantastic. I found Yennifer and went to the next area to begin the next chapter in the game. There's a long interactive cut scene and all the characters and dialog are super interesting. I got asked a lot of questions about my past and realized it was probably about events in the previous games I knew next to nothing about. Oh well, I answered them kind of randomly. Things worked out. I got my next job. I think the adventure might start with sexy time with Yennifer, she's still got the stuffed unicorn after all, but I'll see tomorrow.
Knight out.
