Three Games Failed But Forza Horizon 4 Demo Succeeds

Kind of down at the moment. Not just about games but career stuff. Maybe it'll pass, maybe not. Anyway I played three games today that totally frustrated me and then I saw the Forza Horizon 4 demo and played that with relish. Oh and I bought Last Remant for Xbox 360. Here's a pic.

$4 at Gamestop. It's a two disc game only playable on Xbox 360.

The frist game to piss me off was Minecraft. I had a fine time digging a hole and living in it, but when it came time to go to the Nether, I couldn't find a Fortress. Twice I restarted a new world and still couldn't find one. To heck with this game.

Second game to annoy me mightily was Banner Saga. I picked a Varl I liked to give all my renown points, and boy was he a terror, but then an event happened during the caravan journey that had him trying to stop a treasure wagon from falling over a cliff. If you choose wrong, he dies. Frickin' no way! I'm through. No more of this griefing BS.

Then I tried Graveyard Keeper, a lovely little 8-bit style RPG/graveyard management sim with an interesting story. You die and end up in a medieval town as the graveyard keeper and have to repair the place to regain your life. . . possibly. It seemed pretty great for a while but I had a mission to get a friendly skull a beer. I got the beer and brought it to him but the game wouldn't let me give it to him. I equiped it, but that didn't work either. I don't know what I was doing wrong, but I can't persist in a game that doesn't allow me to finish quests. Back to the Game Pass hell with you (whispered - I may try it again sometime).

Finally the Forza Horizon 4 demo installed, all 28 GB of it, and I began. Oh my, all of what was Forza Horizon 3 but in England (Scotland?) and more. It looks fantastic. I can't tell what's exactly new yet other than better graphics. I played an hour of it and there was still more to do. It comes out Oct 2. I can't wait. YES!

Still down though. I'm backpeddling on my Help Desk/Technical Support career because it looks like all phone center work. I'm going back to Office Administration. I've got like 'til next Summer to come up with full time work. What a busted up life I lead. Oh and they want me in Phi Theta Cappa. What the?

Man, I wish those Forza games were on PS4. So gorgeous.

Yea. I was just thinking about what was similar on PS4. I can't think of one off hand, but maybe their's a good racer there.

There's Gran Turismo Sport and Driveclub as far as exclusives, but Need for Speed (2015) is definitely more my speed (and available on the system; bought it on PS+).

I need to play the Need For Speeds, especially that one the Burnout guys did. I have it somewhere around here.

Reading about Froza led me to check the price on the Forza Horizon 2 on the 360 and...maybe I'll just stick with the Forza and Forza Horizon games I own. I like them but not $45 used like them.

Oh man, Forza Horizon 2 for 360 is expensive. It's like $20 for XBO and they gave it away on XBO, I believe, one month. I have 1 and 2 digitally on XBO and I don't think I spent anything on them except for DLC.
