Dragon Quest

Unfortunetly not the Japanese one but the one my friend and I are now getting close to in Minecraft.

Last time in Minecraft, Mark and I played together in one of his worlds and actually made very good progress towards getting to the End Dragon. We only need four more Eyes of Ender to open the End Portal. After all the sessions of frustration, this looks like it may finally happen. The only thing to do now is armor and enchant up and get ready for the big battle.

We've beaten the End Dragon before in Minecraft but not on Xbox One or this current version of the game. The Dragon, I think, is a little bit tougher this time. I'll be happy to finally get that achievement on the Xbox One version of the game.

ha ha. Minecraft is the gift that keeps on giving.

I was busy for a couple days but I got back to Dragon Quest today. Got lost in these mountains, and then went to this new town that is having a "Masked Martial Arts" tournament. Sounds good to me.

My ideal game life is to get the games I want day-one regardless of system. I need some decent earnings to do that, or some plan where I trade in the game after I'm done with it. This is a difficult plan but one I'm considering. I'd rather build a library.

I only do so for games i really really want. There are a lot of games i wait for until they are discounted.

I usually have one a month I really want. It just passes me by, unless the library gets it, or it shows up on Game Pass. I'm excited for Forza Horizon 4 this coming Tuesday.

Yea, it's pretty funny when I'm playing somethng truely modern and I look over at my friend Mark's screen and I see Minecraft, I'm like, "what's that 8-bit trash you playing over there". Ha ha.

In retro gaming's defense, Mega Man X still looks absolutely fantastic on my SNES Classic ... in a way a lot of other games on that system don't, but it still shows how well things can hold up when done right.

I saw Dragon Quest and first thought was: Hey you're playing that Dragon Quest game that's kinda like Minecraft. Well I kinda got the Minecraft part right, but off on Dragon Quest.
