Banner Saga Soundtrack, Twitter, Luigi's Mansion, and Red Dead 2

I found the Banner Saga soundrack in my copy of the Trilogy Bonus Edition. It was under the game disc where I didn't expect it. I'm so happy about finding it. I listened to it all day today and it's great. It's mornfull and sounds, at times, like a dirge or funeral music, but that's sort of the situation in the game. The characters are facing an apocalypse and many die fighting it. I imagine the music is sourced from old Norse folk music. There are men's chorus', blowing of horns, the clatter of percusion, it has a martial tone at times but there are softer moments too. I keep hearing echoes of the theme to the 1982 film Conan The Barbarian too. Also Shostakovich.

Then I got back into Twitter. It's actually not that annoying and I really enjoyed it for a few moments while I had a snack after work today. I hope I've followed everyone here who's using it.

I have Luigi's Mansion for 3DS out from the library. I love the music and gameplay but the control layout is a little bit tricky. It's all coming back to me though. Thing is, I'm stuck on one of the first ghosts, the one that throws bannana peels at you. You can't stun him or vacume him up. I remember having to reverse the Poltergeist 5000 to shoot things at certain ghost types. Maybe this is one of them but I can't throw the peels back at him. It doesn't work. I'm missing something, but the game is not helping me at all. Anyone who knows, give me a hint to remind me. It's been a while.

Finally, I had a friend at work so eager to have me play Red Dead Redemption 2, that he rustled up a copy for PS4 for me, and I took it out. I'll get to it next week, but I'm excited to see what new things Rockstar has done.

Twitter gets a lot more annoying if you follow this asshole by the handle @joemikestep.

I know that guy, darn him. Can't keep his Twitter mouth shut. Ha ha.

I loved Luigi's Mansion on the GameCube, but it took me a while to get used to the controls if I remember.  I can't imagine doing those controls on the 3DS.

They are just as quirky. You use the d-pad to rotate once you start to vacume. Why do I have to move my thumb from the analog stick, which is the prime way you move in the game? I don't get it. I still love it though.

I have a love/hate relationship with Twitter. Twitter can be fun especially when something funny happens and just to read what people write is hilarious. Of course when things get bad people go nuts. I believe we follow each other so I'm apologizing for random tweets about wrestling, and whatever I'm watching.

That's sort of what Twitter is for. If something interests me, I comment. I'm resisting following news and entertainment sites, even science stuff that I like. I'd rather just hear what people I know say. My feed would get so cluttered so fast, plus I can largely avoide all those moments of hysteria that people get into. It's weird though because, as little time as it takes to tweet something, is still too long for me most of the time. I'd need my phone unlocked all the time and respond to voice only to really do some regular tweeting. Maybe I'll figure that out.

Nice job with the Banner Saga soundtrack. The same guy who did the Journey soundtrack did that. Both are great.

Also, cool about Red Dead. I've been playing it and have been very impressed.

The soundtrack is really great. Battles in the game are driving me crazy again though.

Played about an hour of Red Dead 2 today after waiting hours for all 89 GB to install. What amazing snow! I need to get used to the PS controller again.
