I'm honestly surprised Street Pass is still a thing. Heard much about it when 3DS first come out, then nary a peep for years. I never owned a 3DS though, so I'm out of the loop by default.
Mowing the Lawn in the Lush Woodlands

No new HQ quests yet, so I took a bunch of jobs from the bar patrons, 5 to be exact. Along the way, I unlocked a new labyrinth but didn’t explore it yet. I was keen to reveal the few corners of the Lush Woodlands (not Lush Grasslands, as I previously said) I hadn’t mapped.
So five quests to do this time. One I finished as soon as I took it because I had already delivered the materials to the shop in a previous quest. The rest were all on different levels of the Lush Woodlands, places I’d been to already and marked with descriptive notes. So it was easy to find them again for the quests.
Before I went down there, an event at the campsite had me talking to Wiglaf and crew. They gave me a steak to eat, a bunch of healing and gifts, and unlocked a new Jungle labyrinth. I decided to finish my quests before venturing there.
Down in the Lush Woodlands I found all the materials and locations needed and then covered any new ground I hadn’t mapped. The map screen auto-maps the basic green path you take. You just have to draw in walls, doors, chests and put in any notes. In one big room I crisscrossed the ground to make sure I had tread on every single square. You never know what might be there. It felt like mowing a lawn, and I guess, all these side quests too were like mowing the lawn for XP.
Additionally, I met a Street Pass character in a room who told me about a tough battle they had and gave me some basic items. Pretty cool. I'm hoping to get more Street Passes for this game and see what more pops up.
