Where are any of us, really?
Why, Vern?

I got my mission from Persephone at HQ to find someone lost in the Primitive Jungle. I also picked up a few quests from the bar. They should be called re-quests because they are not grand at all. One has team Scything (that’s my team name) hunting down someone’s lost favorite coin, and another has us collecting mint for a drink. We’re game though. All grist for the XP mill.
I found the mint first by gathering at specific spots in the Jungle. Then I got ambushed by three giant scorpions. Turns out they are vulnerable to cold damage. I let my mage take care of that while the rest activated various debuffs and binding skills on them.
During random encounters, I worked on binding the legs of those coconut barfing trees (I can never remember the names for these things) so I could get their special drop. I only have one skill that can bind feet, and it’s random between feet, head and arms, so I had to use it several times until I got lucky. Of course, I’m on Picnic difficulty, so I can afford to let them attack me a few rounds. I don’t take much damage and only get occasionally bound or poisoned.
Then I finally found the entrance to the central area of the map and came across a Wyvern. I thought, maybe this will be a challenge. Then it picked us up and took us to a unexplored map. Right on! Lost in the labyrinth, just like in Wizardry when you had to use Malor to get out of an impossible battle. Love it!
Now. . . where the heck am I?
