Doughnut Vans, Apple Banners and Warpups

Here are some postcards from my latest gaming. I fllipped my lid in Forza Horizon 4, made apple banners in Minecraft and led a team of warpups in Wargroove.
I was chasing achievements today in Forza Horizon 4. I played a lot of Free-For-All Adventure mode trying to get ranked. I learned that getting the right tune for your car is key. I finally won the Street Race Championship by carefully picking a car and tuning it up just right. It made all the difference. I also messed around a lot with funny paint jobs like this Dunkin' Doughnuts design on a GMC van. I flipped it. Driving it made me want Dunkin' Doughnuts so badly.
Mark and I attacked the new achievement for Minecraft. You have to make a banner with a Notch (or Enchanted) Apple design. Weirdly enough, this requires an actual Notch Apple, which is not craftable anymore in the current version of the game. So, Mark booted up the older version on Xbox One and loaded up the Tutorial Map, where you can make a Notch Apple. Then he transfered the file to the new version where you have the Loom. Put a banner, a dye, and a stencil made of paper with a Notch Apple in the Loom and you get what's shown in the image above. 'Chievoliscious!
Then I played some Wargroove and discovered Warpups. These are armored dogs, Panzerhunds I believe they were called in Wolfenstein: New Order. Here I even played with a Warpup leader named Caesar. The variety of yelps used when taking damage were impressive. Caesar can also howl in oder to inspire troops to fight an extra turn. Warpups are also fast and benefit from fighting in groups. I tried to swarm the map with them in one level. Way fun.
Well, tomorrow I'll get back to Forza Horizon 4 because the new week starts and all the daily and weekly challenges will be new. I still need that associated achievement. So back to work for me.
