Yes um. . . played me some Forza Horizon 4, Wargroove and Just Cause 4. All were very nice. Details. . .

1932 Ford

The main thing about Forza today was buying this 1932 Ford (shown above) in anticipation of my 1930s theme for April. This month was the 1920s. I wanted the one 1920s car in the game, the 1926 Bugatti, but it was $10 million. I bought a castle for that. No way. I like the photo editor in the game. It let's you get a little creative.

In Wargroove, I managed to beat the level I was on. It was a grind though and took a while. I protected my trebuchets and moved slowly forward. A war of attrition against these suicidal AI seemed to work well.

Post bike stuntJust Cause 4 was a blast. In this explosive open world, I witnessed a lot of wackiness: I got a telephone pole put vertically through my car that killed it; I ended up upsidedown after jumping my dirt bike (as shown); I watched an enemy dune buggy drag off another enemy I had attached to a balloon; I attached rocket boosters to cows, pigs and llamas to watch them fly around; there was so much, I can't list them all. I'll just end this with a few beauty shots from my helicopter flights and boating.

Hey I thought of a cartoon you could watch for the 1920s.  It's TaleSpin.  It's a Disney Afternoon cartoon from the early 90s and it's set in a fictional world that looks like around the 1920s.  It's pretty good.

Sweet! I saw a tri-plane in the intro. I'll have to watch episode one over lunch today. Thanks!

Episode 1 is called Plunder and Lightning I believe.  I hope you get a chance to watch TaleSpin.  I really like it.  But then, I'm a big fan of the Disney Afternoon stuff.

The youtube episodes were in small box or in other languages. I'll have to rent it from the library.

I’m glad they went full crazy with Just Cause. Sometimes pure fun is all that matters.

It's always been a sandbox of destruction, if you want it to be. I kind of wanted to hunt for these lost South American ruins in one quest line, but I couldn't figure out how to find them. They would tell you the province but not the specific location. So I just did whatever was nearby and marked, mostly stunts and stuff. I've yet to figure out this complicated map screen.

I need to get in on the recent Just Cause game. I enjoyed the hell out of 3 especially with the PC mods, but damn these games are just crazy fun.

I played the heck out of the first one and weirdly missed 2 and 3. I'm glad to finally get back into the series.
