I remember liking the Metroid Prime backstory you found through scanning logs.

I played this the other day and finished it. Of course, it's not really finished because there are more achievements. I haven't decided if I'm going back in again, though. I've left it installed in case I feel like it.
The game takes place on a space station in orbit Earth in 2088. Something bad has happened and you are tasked with retreaving the AI and all the station's data. Along the way you can observe the augemented reality replay of the crew and what they did just before the accident.
I didn't quite know what to do at first, but soon got the hang of it. You watch the replay in different areas of the station and can access specific crew member's data, like their text messages and email. You piece to gether what has happened as you go. Eventually you get the full skinny on what happened as it ends. It took a couple hours or more, not very long.
There are lots of things to look at, read and explore in the station. I lucked out and got some of the achievements for weird things along the way. I never look at achievements on the first playthrough - too many spoilers that way.
So this was a fun diversion. I've exhausted Borderlands GotYE. I feel like I've play tested it, I've played it so much. So I'm looking for another major game to tackle. I'll be doing more short games until I figure that out.
