Dug Out My Disney Infinity Figures For the Last Time

On a list of short games to play, I came across Disney Infinity 2.0 and 3.0, so I thought I'd revist them on Xbox One and then decide what to do with these piles of figures I'd accumulated a few years ago.
I checked out the Toy Box mode in Disney Infinity 2.0 (also called Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes) with my Stitch figure for a short time before deciding to jump into one of the story modes instead. I played the Spider-Man adventure to the end in about five hours or so.
I used my Spider-Man figure most of the time and Venom as a backup. Once or twice I got knocked out and had to swap. The game makes you rest the downed character for a while, maybe an hour, I didn't keep track.
I noticed the developer is Avalanche, the company that does the Just Cause series and the recent Rage 2. So the open world Spider-Man adventure is good. You can use web slinging or grab a hover bike or hover car to swing around the city. There are a variety of tasks to complete, both for story progression and side quests, to level up your figure and acquire new skills. It's surprisingly fun and occasionally challenging. There is a lot of fighting Venom's minions with punching combos and web slinging. The bosses are Green Goblin and Mysterio (I wished there was a Mysterio figure). I like to stun 'em with a web shot and then pound them mercilessly. There are some puzzles to solve as well that made me scratch my head here and there; nothing too difficult, it's made for kids after all.
Well, I'm going to run through all of 2.0 and then hit the achievements. It seems I only played the Xbox 360 version before and now have a fresh set of achievements to get. What I'll do with the bin full of figures afterwards, I'm uncertain about. I should get rid of them because this game will never get remade. We'll see.
