It's gotta take a hell of a lot of man hours to make a game where the voice acting isn't repetitive after you play it for that much time.
Borderlands 2, Beaten and Thrashed

I've now completed every side mission in the main game of Borderlands 2 with the Mechromancer.
Actually, all missions but one, the RAID boss. Mark and I attempted to beat it co-op and nearly won, but at 5 pm or so, the internet slowed from community use, and it got too glitchy to play online. So, next week we'll try again.
I attempted to find every named location in the game but eventually gave up, like I did the two times before. The game doesn't tell you what you're missing. I had revealed all parts of all maps, but it doesn't reveal some underground rooms or tall buildings that you may not have visited. I thought by doing all the side missons I'd find every location but apparently not because the achievement never unlocked. I could attempt all the challenges for each area listed in one part of the player menu, but I'm feeling pretty exhausted right now, and don't want to do it.
Then I started up a level 30 Siren character to get the achievement for using her Phase Lock ability. The game lets you create a level 30 character now if you just want to jump into the new DLC. It wasn't that hard: 100 kills freezing enemies in a bubble of energy and dispatching them.
Then I started up a Gunzerker to use his special for 90 seconds for an achievement. This is actually quite difficult even with respecing your skill points to optimize cooldown time. I fought battle after battle and couldn't do it. Mark has been playing a Gunzerker for years. He's had a level 70+ character that he probably logged hundreds of hours with and never unlocked that achievement. I imagine there's some trick to it, like getting the right class mod to boost the time in special mode. I'll probably let it go for now and try the assassin character.
Zero, the assassin, has a stealth special. You have to stay in it for 90 seconds for the achievement. I fear this will be as tricky as the Gunzerker, but I'm going to try it anyway.
I also want to run through all the DLC again. I started the Tiny Tina's Bunkers and Badasses one today. It's all DnD themed and very cool. Fighting skeletons is actually creepy to me. I was beginning to feel a bit burned out on the game though. I may go back to my Mechromancer for the DLC.
I can't believe how much voice work is in this game. I hear new lines every day I play the game. Every enemy type has its own one liners they yell during a fight, and the host of NPCs is huge. The game is very talky, to put it another way. Luckily it's almost always hilarious because it could really get annoying after a while.
Well, maybe next week I'll get into the Lego DLC for Forza Horizon 4, but I'm already feeling like B2 is going to eat up another weekend for me (weekend meaning middle of the week for me).
