maybe your train needed passenger cars, not cargo cars? I have no idea.
Afterparty and Railway Empire

I finished Afterparty and finally got a handle on the controls in Railway Empire, almost finishing the first set of tasks in campaign mode.
Afterparty: It didn't end as I expected, but I enjoyed the journey. The game is very well written. Dialog is funny and clever. It's very dense in references and jokes, so replaying it would be of value because I'm sure I missed some things. More evidence of that is I only got about half the achievements in the game. I was tempted to replay it but Railway Empire finished installing, and I wanted to get to that.
Railway Empire: My friend got me a copy so we could both play it. I jumped into free play and started getting a handle on the somewhat confusing control scheme. I really wanted to see if I could get through campaign mode, so I restarted that again. I got really far in it and was down to the very last task. It may be the last task in the first segment of the campaign, but maybe not, I'm not sure. In any case, I got stuck on it. I was tasked with running an express line between two cities and delivering 100 passengers. I built the line and started the train, but it wouldn't pick up passagers in the right direction, only matterial goods. I think I have to build up the smaller city but I'm unsure how to do that except to create more lines and deliver more raw matterials to it. I had to stop for the night, but that's what I'll try next time.
I really want to get through the campaign. I've only been working in the midwest of the U.S.. There are all the areas of the U.S. to build on. There's a lot of game here. There is also a lot of DLC for this game with areas of Europe like France and Germany to build in. I think I'm going to be deep into this game for a while.
I also bought Road Rage on sale for $3. This game is a more elaborate Road Rash 3D and I'm excited to play it even though it got terrible reviews. Brawling on bikes is an irresistable draw for me.
That's a day.
